Kentucky Winter Mixed Catalogue Now Online

Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 416 entries for the main catalogue of its Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale, to be held on Monday and Tuesday, February 5 and 6, in Lexington, Kentucky.  Sessions will begin each day at 10 am.

Hips 1-300 will be offered in the Monday session.  Hips 301, through the supplemental catalogue, will be offered in the Tuesday session.

“Positioned right before the start of breeding season, Kentucky Winter Mixed annually offers a healthy and active marketplace,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “We have an attractive group of racing and broodmare prospects catalogued, and good quality and depth among the covering sire and yearling sire ranks.”

This year’s catalogue cover features Adare Manor, winner of the 2023 Clement L. Hirsch S. (G1), one of her five graded stakes wins to date.  She first sold as a yearling at the 2020 Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale.

Entries remain open for the sale’s supplemental catalogue.  Fasig-Tipton will continue to accept supplemental entries over the next few weeks.

“We have a good number of supplemental entries already in the pipeline and we encourage sellers to consider additional entries – especially horses with a significant pedigree or racing update in the coming weeks,” noted Browning.

The main catalogue for Kentucky Winter Mixed may now be viewed online.  Print catalogues will be available beginning January 15.  The catalogue will also be available via the equineline sales catalogue app.

Online bidding and phone bidding services will be available.
