Stakes Winner Orbolution Sells for $325,000

Stakes winner Orbolution sold for $325,000 at the July Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale. Offered as Hip 521 by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, the four-year-old daughter of Orb was purchased for $325,000 by Hinkle Farms.

Orbolution was a 4 ¾ length winner of the P.G. Johnson S. at Saratoga as a juvenile, and was third that year in the Miss Grillo S. (G3) at Belmont. To date, she has two wins, one second, and four thirds from eight career starts and earnings of $164,150.

From the first crop of Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Orb, this filly is out of the graded stakes placed Horse Chestnut (SAF) mare My Rachel, whose five winners from five to race also include stakes placed fillies Rachel's Ready and Firehouse Red. Firehouse Red's first foal is 2018 Affirmed S. (G3) winner Draft Pick. My Rachel herself is a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Jack Milton and Grade 3 winner Peace Preserver.
