She's a Julie Sells for $3,000,000

Multiple Grade 1 winner She's a Julie (Hip 208) sold for $3,000,000 at The November Sale. She was purchased by Spendthrift Farm from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent.

A five-time graded stakes winner, She's a Julie won the La Troienne S. (G1) last year at four over Grade 1 winners Secret Spice and Blue Prize (ARG). This year at five, she added the prestigious Ogden Phipps S. (G1), defeating Grade 1 winner Ollie's Candy and the highly-rated Point of Honor. She's a Julie also counts the Bayakoa S. (G3), Iowa Oaks (G3), and Remington Park Oaks (G3) among her victories.

She's a Julie won seven times in her career and earned $1,196,380. She was campaigned by owners Bradley Thoroughbreds, Tim Cambron, Anna Cambron, Denali Stud, Rigney Racing, and Madaket Stables and trainer Steve Asmussen.

By two-time Leading Sire Elusive Quality, She's a Julie is out of the winning Dubai Millennium mare Kydd Gloves, who has produced five winners from six to race. In addition to She's a Julie, Kydd Gloves is the dam of Tactfully (IRE) (Discreet Cat), dam of Irish stakes winner Ambassadorial (Elusive Quality). Kydd Gloves is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes winner Parade Queen, dam of graded stakes winner Untouched Talent, who in turn produced Grade 1 winner and Kentucky Derby (G1) sire Bodemeister.
