Dam of Grade 1 winner Saudi Crown Added to Fasig-Tipton November
New Narration, the dam of recent Pennsylvania Derby (G1) winner Saudi Crown, is the latest supplemental entry added to Fasig-Tipton’s upcoming November Sale. She will be consigned by Sequel New York, agent, as hip 259.
An eight-year-old daughter of highly successful broodmare sire Tapit, New Narration is offered carrying a foal from the first crop of Nashville -- the brilliantly fast son of Speightstown.
Saudi Crown, her second foal, emphatically won the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) on September 23 going gate-to-wire and earning a 105 Beyer Speed Figure. Saudi Crown has now won three of five career starts and finished second in the Jim Dandy S. (G2) and Dwyer Stakes (G3). He has posted triple-digit Beyers in each of his three most recent starts.
Saudi Crown is expected to make his next start in the upcoming Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1).
“New Narration is an exciting addition to our marquee November Sale lineup,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning. “Saudi Crown is one of the nation’s most exciting three-year-old colts and is peaking at the right time with the Breeders’ Cup Classic approaching.”
“A $500,000 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga yearling, New Narration also has the physical conformation to match her superior produce record,” Browning added.
The Fasig-Tipton November Sale will be held on Tuesday, November 7, in Lexington, Kentucky, beginning at 2 pm. The catalogue may viewed here.
