Dam of Speed King Among Latest Supplements to Kentucky Winter Mixed

Athenian Beauty, the dam of Saturday’s Southwest S. (G3) winner Speed King, leads the latest supplemental entries to Fasig-Tipton’s Kentucky Winter Mixed Sale, to be held on Monday, February 3 in Lexington, Kentucky.

These newest entries are catalogued as hips 404-414. 

Offered as Hip 413 by Taylor Made Sales Agency, Athenian Beauty is offered in foal to Caracaro. Her current three-year-old, Speed King, impressively captured the Southwest S. (G3) at Oaklawn this past weekend in wire-to-wire fashion.  She is a half-sister to the dam of multiple Grade 1 winner Mor Spirit.

Other entries in this latest supplement release include Yatta (Hip 411), a graded stakes placed and multiple stakes placed earner of more than $250,000.  She hails from the immediate family of Grade 1 winners Kitten’s Joy, Precious Kitten, and Dreaming of Anna.  The racing/broodmare prospect is consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent.

Also added to the sale are mares in foal to Authentic, Honest Mischief, Jackie’s Warrior, and Keepmeinmind.
