Twirling Candy Filly to Farmer for $320,000

Hip 617, a filly by Twirling Candy, sold for $320,000 late during the second session of the New York Bred Yearlings sale. The bay filly was purchased by Tracy Farmer from the consignment of Fort Christopher's Thoroughbreds LLC, agent for Kingsport Farm.

This filly is by Twirling Candy, sire of recent Grade 1 winning fillies like Concrete Rose and Finley'sluckycharm. Hip 617 is out of the multiple Grade 1 placed winning A.P. Indy mare Soul Search, making her a half-sister to graded stakes winner/multiple stakes winner Journey Home (War Front). The immediate family includes champion filly Pleasant Stage and Grade 1 winners A Phenomenon, Seattle Meteor, Marsh Side, and Changeintheweather.

Hip 617 was bred in New York by Kingsport Farm LLC.
