American Pharoah Colt Sells for $775,000 at The Gulfstream Sale

Hip 60, a colt from the first crop of AMERICAN PHAROAH sold for $775,000 at the 2019 Gulfstream Sale off a 10:0 work (video). The dark bay or brown colt was purchased by Katsumi Yoshida from the consignment of Top Line Sales, agent.
By Triple Crown Champion AMERICAN PHAROAH, this colt is the second foal out of the SMART STRIKE mare JEWELIANA, a daughter of Grade 2 winner and multiple graded stakes winner ROSHANI. This is the immediate family of Grade 1 winners HYMN BOOK and DATA LINK.
Like his sire, Hip 60 is a graduate of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale, where he sold for $235,000 in 2018.
