First Crop Frosted Filly to OXO Equine for $850,000
Hip 130, a filly from the first crop of Frosted, sold for $850,000 during the second session of The Saratoga Sale. The gray or roan filly was purchased by OXO Equine LLC from the consignment of Denali Stud, agent.
This filly is by Frosted, three-time Grade 1 winning son of Tapit who retired with career earnings of $3,972,800. His victories including a scintillating 14 1/4 length romp in the 2016 Metropolitan H. (G1) at Belmont.
She is out of multiple stakes winner Swingit, by Victory Gallop, dam of four winners from as many to race, including multiple Grade 1 placed millionaire Neolithic (Harlan's Holiday). Fourth dam is champion and multiple Group 1 winner Carnauba, ancestress of champion Housemaster and Grade 1 winner Smart N Slick.
The April foal was bred in Kentucky.
