Full Sister to Champion Miss Mischief Sells for $300,000
Hip 202, a filly by Leading Sire Into Mischief, sold for $300,000 during the first session of the Kentucky October Yearlings sale. The bay filly was purchased by Willis Horton Racing from the consignment of Wynnstay Sales, agent.
Leading Sire in 2019, Into Mischief is poised to retain his title in 2020. Into Mischief has sired three Grade 1 winners this year, including Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Authentic, multiple Grade 1 winning filly Gamine, and recent Frizette S. (G1) winner Dayoutoftheoffice.
This filly is out of the stakes placed Lemon Drop Kid mare Kid Majic, making her a full sister to two-time Canadian champion Miss Mischief. Hip 24 is also a half-sister to stakes placed winner Mind Out and to the dam of multiple Grade 1 placed winner Rowayton. Her second dam is stakes winner Call Her Magic, who produced Grade 1 winner J P's Gusto, as well as the dams of stakes winners Letruska, Trigger Warning, and Swagger Jagger.
Hip 202 was bred in Kentucky by H. Allen Poindexter.
