My Bronx Tail sells for $100,000

My Bronx Tail, a five-year-old daughter of champion Speightstown, sold for $100,000 during the first session of the Kentucky Winter Mixed sale. Offered as Hip 160, the broodmare prospect was purchased by Joseph DiRico, Jack Harvey, agent from the consignment of Gainesway, agent for Saratoga Seven Racing Partners LLC.

A two-time winner last year, My Bronx Tail earned $139,560 on the track. She is out of the graded stakes winning Malibu Moon mare Winding Way, a full sister to multiple Grade 2 winner Kauai Katie. This mare's first four dams are all stakes winners or producers.
