Toy Moon Sells for $210,000

Toy Moon (Hip 546), in foal to champion Good Magic, sold for $210,000 during the second session of the Kentucky Winter Mixed sale. The four-year-old mare was purchased by Fleetwood Bloodstock from the consignment of Paramount Sales, agent.

Multiple times placed at two, this daughter of Malibu Moon is carrying her first foal, by 2017 Eclipse Champion Two-Year-Old Male Good Magic, winner of that year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) and of the 2018 Haskell Invitational S. (G1).

Toy Moon is a half-sister to five winners, including multiple Grade 2 winner Pomeroy's Pistol (Pomeroy), who is herself the dam of undefeated Thousand Words. That colt won the Los Alamitos Futurity (G2) last year at two and opened his 2020 account on February 1 with a win in the Robert B. Lewis S. (G3) to earnings to date of $211,000. The immediate family also includes Grade 1 winners Harlan and Things Change.
