Estate of Glen Todd to Disperse on Fasig-Tipton Digital; Bidding Now Open for Phase 1
Fasig-Tipton will conduct the dispersal of the Estate of Glen Todd on its Fasig-Tipton Digital platform. Bidding is now open for the first phase of the dispersal, which includes horses of racing age, two-year-olds in training, and yearlings. Pegasus Training Center will act as agent for the dispersal.
John Glendon “Glen” Todd, a Hall of Fame owner/breeder and pillar of the British Columbia Thoroughbred industry, passed away on March 27 at the age of 75. Todd was involved in racing for more than 50 years, and since 2006, campaigned nearly 50 black-type winners in the name of North American Thoroughbred Horse Co., as well as in his own name and in partnership.
Thirty-one horses from Todd’s estate will be offered over the next week on Fasig-Tipton Digital. They consist of 10 horses of racing age, 14 two-year-olds in training, and 7 yearlings. Two-year-olds have been broken and are galloping.
All horses will be sold without reserve.
Bidding will close this Tuesday, May 3, at 2 pm EDT. Prospective buyers should visit digital.fasigtipton.com to register to bid and view the catalogue. Pedigrees, past performances, photos, walking and training videos, x-rays, and video scopes are provided where relevant.
“Glen Todd was a titan of the British Columbia Thoroughbred industry and a wonderful supporter of Thoroughbred racing and breeding as a whole,” said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales. “We are honored that his estate has entrusted Fasig-Tipton Digital with the dispersal of his stable.”
All horses to be offered are located at Pegasus Training Center in Redmond, Washington, and are available for inspection by appointment. To make an appointment, prospective buyers may contact the training center at (425) 898-1060.
