Bidding Now Open for Final Phase of Glen Todd Dispersal

Bidding is now open on Fasig-Tipton Digital for the final phase of the Glen Todd Dispersal.  The catalogue consists of 35 entries of in-foal mares and weanlings, all of which are located at Todd Manor Farm outside of Lexington, Kentucky.  Ballysax Bloodstock consigns as agent for the Estate of Glen Todd.

John Glendon “Glen” Todd, a Hall of Fame owner/ breeder and pillar of the British Columbia Thoroughbred industry, passed away on March 27 at the age of 75.  The first phase of his dispersal, which consisted of horses of racing age and yearlings, was conducted on Fasig-Tipton Digital this past spring.

Twenty-one broodmares and 14 weanlings from Todd’s estate will be offered over the next week on Fasig-Tipton Digital.  Broodmares catalogued are in foal to American Freedom, Army Mule, Cairo Prince, Complexity, Echo Town, Enticed, Frosted, Good Magic, Knicks Go, Mo Town, Nyquist, Practical Joke, and Upstart.

Weanlings on offer are by Cairo Prince, Frosted, Hard Spun, Mo Town, Outwork, Practical Joke, and The Factor.

All horses will be sold without reserve.

“Mr. Todd bred exclusively to race, developing families and raising foals with the sole aim of success on the racetrack,” said Leif Aaron, Fasig-Tipton’s Director of Digital Sales.  “These offerings provide access to a successful program that has rarely seen the commercial market.”

Bidding will close a week from today on Thursday, September 29, at 2 pm EDT.  Prospective buyers should visit digital.fasigtipton.com to register to bid and view the catalogue.

Those wishing to inspect the Glen Todd offerings may do so at an open house this coming Sunday, September 25, at Todd Manor Farm (2991 Leestown Rd, Midway, KY) from 9 am – 4 pm.  For inquiries or to schedule a separate inspection, prospective buyers should contact Carl McEntee of Ballysax Bloodstock at (859)397-8272 or carl@ballysaxbloodstock.com.
